“Test your iQ to Win a Scion iQ” Contest Rules

  1. ONE (1) grand prize package will be awarded: A Scion iQ. Grand prize a free SIX (6) month lease on an OpenRoad Scion iQ (commencing based on availability).
  2. Entrants must be residents of British Columbia, and must be 21 years of age or older at the entry submission date to be eligible. No purchase is necessary to enter the contest. Winner of vehicle lease must also have a full class 5 BC driver’s license with a clean driver's abstract. Lease subject to OAC. Winner required to pay for security deposit and for any damage incurred within the lease period.
  3. Contest is not open to employees, representatives, agents, or their immediate families, and/or those with whom they are domiciled, OpenRoad Auto Group or any of its Dealers or operating units and their respective advertising and promotional agencies and partners.
  4. Contest period starts at 12:01 am on May 16, 2011 and ends at 11:59 pm on November 30, 2011. Entries may be submitted between the start time and end time of the contest period only. Only ONE entry will be randomly drawn.
  5. Entries may be submitted only via Facebook (www.facebook.com/ORScion): Facebook "Like" our Fan page in addition, entrants must answer any of the "Weekly Polls" correctly
  6. No entries will be accepted as eligible if transmitted by other means.
  7. Maximum one entry per Facebook account
  8. Chances of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
  9. All entries that are incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, have been submitted through illicit means, or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of the rules may be disqualified by the contest sponsor. The contest sponsor takes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, misdirected, late or destroyed entries, or for typographical or other production errors. The contest sponsor is not responsible for any errors or omissions in printing or advertising this contest. All entries become the property of the contest sponsor.
  10. The contest sponsor is collecting personal data about entrants for the sole purpose of administering this contest. No further information or marketing communications will be sent to entrants unless entrants provide the contest sponsor with explicit permission to do so as indicated on the entry form. The contest sponsor is subject to applicable Canadian Federal and Provincial privacy legislation.
  11. Random draws will be held from all valid entries, and selected entrants will be notified as potential winners through the contact information as set out on the entry form or via the social media used to enter. If a selected entrant cannot be reached within five (5) days following the draw, incorrectly answers the skill-testing question, declines the prize, or fails to complete a waiver and release as specified, another entrant will be selected.
  12. To be declared a winner, selected entrants must first correctly answer, unaided, a mathematical time-limited skill-testing question and announce on the social media they used to enter how they won that specific prize (exception to website entry). Contest judges’ rulings are final and without appeal in all matters related to the promotion and awarding of prizes. Contest winners will also be required to use the social media form in which they entered to announce how and what they won.
  13. Contest winners must accept the respective prizes as awarded. No substitutions or cash award equivalents are permitted. The contest sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal value in the event of the unavailability, for whatever reason, of the advertised prize. Any necessary substitutions will be at the sole discretion of the contest sponsor.
  14. Each individual may only be rewarded once as a winner. All entries submitted from the same winner by different means of social media will automatically be removed from the draws of subsequent weeks upon full verification of winning status by the organizers of the contest.
  15. Prizes may not be transferred or exchanged, and cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer by OpenRoad Auto Group or the contest sponsor.
  16. The prize shall be delivered to the verified winners only.
  17. Contest winners must claim their prizes by February 1, 2012
  18. All Terms and Conditions of OpenRoad Auto Group lease requirements and regulations apply. Grand prize winner must have be a BC resident with a Class 5 licence.
  19. Contest winners must sign a waiver and agree to allow the organizers to publish his/her name and photograph without further notice, permission or compensation. Each winner agrees to assign all rights, titles and interest to the contest sponsor.
  20. The contest sponsor assumes no responsibility for failure of the internet or the website during the contest period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any material in the contest. The contest sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion; to suspend or cancel the e-mail portion of this contest should a virus, bug or other cause beyond their reasonable control corrupt the security or proper administration of the contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, the contest sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.
  21. If the identity of an entrant is disputed, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address, Facebook account submitted at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant. The individual assigned to the e-mail address for: the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address or Facebook account is considered the authorized account holder. A selected entrant may be required to provide proof that s/he is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the selected entry. All entries must be submitted from a valid e-mail account that may be identified by reverse domain name search. Entries from Facebook will receive direct message requesting contact information if chosen as a winner. The sole determinant of time for the purposes of receipt of a valid entry in this contest will be the contest server machines.
  22. Draw rules are subject to change and additional rules set forth by OpenRoad Auto Group may apply. In the case of a discrepancy between rules, decision by OpenRoad Auto Group shall be final and binding.
